About Me

I am a Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Manchester. Previously, I was a Research Associate in Behavioural Science with Dr. Simon Copeland, and before that a Pure Mathematics PhD student, supervised by Prof. Mark Kambites and Dr. Nóra Szakács.

My pronouns are currently They/Them.

I'm a part of Manchester's Semigroups Group, particularly interested in semigroup connections with combinatorics and graph theory, but I can also be found working with decision problems, formal language theory, geometric (semi)group theory, and inverse semigroup connections to C*-algebras, groupoids and functional analysis. My Erdős number is 4.

When not staring at graphs, I am a hiker dysgwyr Cymraeg, variant sudokuer and table tennis player-coach. I am also an budding cruciverbalist and have made a range of Cryptic Crosswords which you are free to have a look at.
